The Fray Rocks The Ryan Center on September 22 (posted July 21, 2009)

TICKETS GO ON SALE THURSDAY, JULY 23 AT 10AM

(KINGSTON, RI – July 21, 2009) – Global Spectrum and the University of Rhode Island Student Entertainment Committee are eager to announce that The Fray is coming to The Ryan Center on September 22 at 8pm with special guest Nathanial Rateliffe and The Wheel.

The Denver act most recently released its self-titled follow-up album, which included the hit "You Found Me". The single was aired on ABC during a commercial advertising the upcoming season of the show Lost and quickly climbed the charts from there. Since then, the group has also found success on the airwaves with the hit single "Never Say Never."The Fray played to sold-out crowds around the world in support of 2005's How to Save a Life (Epic/Sony), which went on to sell more than 3 million copies in the U.S. Melodically charged hits “Cable Car (Over My Head)” and the title track worked their way onto the radio and into the hearts of fans – not to mention onto the soundtrack of TV phenom “Grey's Anatomy.” Throw in a trio of Grammy nominations, and you've got the kind of out-of-the-gate explosion that any young artist would envy.Nathaniel Rateliff & The Wheel - another Denver act and side project of the group Born In The Flood, whose song "Anthem" was recently featured on CW's One Tree Hill, will accompany The Fray on their trip to The Ryan Center. The group's drummer played with The Fray during their recent appearance on the American Music Awards.
